Course Curriculum Overview
The Faculty members at IIT BHU are renowned in their respective fields. However, their teaching methods often lean towards traditional and theoretical approaches, the attendance is relaxes which provides you ample of time for exploration and even preparation for coding if one is inclined towards software related jobs
Internships Opportunities
if you are enrolled in a Btech 4-year program then you will have an internship test in your 5th semester, Almost all the major companies hire from IIT BHU. stipends range from 50k to 2 lakh per month.

Placement at IIT BHU is good. if you put in decent efforts then you can surely grab a good placement from the IIT BHU tag. all the major companies like google , Microsoft , amazon , navi , Samsung , Razorpay etc visit the campus
Fees and Financial Aid
If your family income is less than 1 lakh then your fee is around 21k for one semester if it is below 5 lakh but greater than 1 lakh then it is around 60-70k per semester. else fee is around 1.25 lakh per semester
Campus Life
Kashiyatra and Technex are prominent festivals hosted at IIT BHU among several others. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and accommodation facilities can house around 150 students. However, the lab equipment is dated and poses challenges in usability. For those inclined towards sports, there are abundant opportunities, with various games such as Kabaddi , cricket , badminton , tennis , kho-kho and more begin actively played on campus.
Hostel Facilities
The older hostels at IIT BHU are notably aged, featuring small rooms and subpar facilities. In contrast, the newly constructed hostels like DG2 and Satish Dhawan offer modern amenities. These include lifts, well-maintained washrooms, parking areas, and pleasant gardens, providing a more comfortable and contemporary living environment. The meal quality of hostels is good as compared to other IITs. Registration process for Hostel is very smooth and takes only one day to complete the whole process
Admission
Admission to the Electronics Engineering program at IIT BHU was based on my performance in the JEE Advanced examination. I secured a rank of 4832 overall and 365 in the GEN-EWS category. During the first round of JoSAA counseling I was allotted a seat in Electronics Engineering at IIT BHU and my allocation remained unchanged throughout the process, then at that time you had to submit 35k to Josaa to lock your seat.
