Good and lush green campus very hygienic
The availability of both the veg and non veg food
And also the non ragging campus is there

Dislikes

Its locatoion is very far from the main city
Other thing is not there like it is good bit
Its small size room for the freshers with 1 table for both

As I loved doing Practical things and being a electrical engineer is very enthusiastic and exciting. It's a tough course as it not only have omm laws to play with it has many more thing. Faculties are really very great and highly qualified from IITs and foreign Universities. As per the academic year papers happend.

Internships Opportunities

Intern ships come here at the Start of the 3rdyear and the training for that start from the 4th sem and it's good for you to maintain a cg of above 8 for a better intern opportunity. Student itself and teacher also provide some project opportunities

Placement Experience

From the end of third year student gets eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like big MNCs as Microsoft, Google, amazon, Barclay's, accentuate, and flipkart, etc For circuital it is almost ????

Fees and Financial Aid

My current fee is around 1 lakh 1 thousand. It's 15300 at the time of admission. Yeah college comes with various scholarship too mostly for women and SC STs students got the opportunities. You can avail in your fee structure as per your family annual income

Campus Life

There were total four fest that are celebrated here in NIT rourkela 1. INNOVISION -TECH FEST 2. VRIDDHI -SPORTS FEST 3. COSMOPOLITAN- CULTURAL FEST 4. NITRUTSAV- LITERALLY AND CULTURAL FEST There were unlimited amount of books you want to study Every sports field and equipment are available here

Hostel Facilities

Yes , hostel are also good like for fresher they use to stay in the Vikram Sarabhai hall of residence and in which 2 person stays together with 2 bed , 1 ethernet port and 1 table , Mess food is OK OK not that good not that worse Done at the time of admission

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

Admission is only via JOSAA counseling from jee main and for abroad student using DASA. Yes there is reservation criteria for branches and also less in tuition fee as per the reservation category you belongs too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

NIT ROURKELA THE ACTUAL REVIEW

I had a choice for chemical engineering in NIT Calicut,kerala my home state but i was not interested in chemistry so I dropped that choice and preferred electrical engineering in NIT Rourkela because choosing this would be more related to core and computer field which also was the one I was interested in.
