- Faculty is supportive you'll get enough of help from them.
- Labs are fully equiped . You'll not face any problem in lab facility.
- Every semester we get a chance to lean new things through external trainers.
Dislikes
- they force student to come college even if they want to do something else.
- Not all Theory classes are good and the focus on their theaching not students leaning from them.
- Everyday 10-5 college with atleast one 3.15 hrs lab is very exhausting.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very out dated like other courses. College provides us 10-15 years old study materials for study . Faculty members are helpful .The student faculty ratio is about 1:1 as we dont have much student in our class . I'm not sure about faculty qualifications but some of them are very good at teaching and some of them just come write and understand the topics by his own and go. Exams timing is according to as MAKAUT declares and now a days getting passing maks is very difficult.
Placement Experience
Student from 6th sem are eligible for placement . one company called p360 offered about 10-15 other companys are also there but i think they offered not more then 5-6.Highest Package is 36 LPA offered by Microsoft in offcampus. 30-40 percent usually gets placed but this year it may drop to 10-15 percent due to not hiring.My plan is to persue higher studies in AI .
Fees and Financial Aid
Thers no fees hike or extra fees like that one can expect to complete the whole course within 600000. Lower middle class people can avail for SVMCM scholarship and girl child can avail for other state spnsored yojona's . You can also avail Study loan if you want, referred by our state ministry. Don't look for any stipen in capus as you'll not get it.
Campus Life
The annual fest is always before your odd semester exams so if you are studious you will not get time to enjoy. and tech fest happens around Sept-Nov. Books & Journals are availble always thers no problem in that. Classrooms has bench and board and light fans etc. You'll not get AC classroom (except lab) and smart classrooms are limited not every classes have that. Lab facility although very good. Theres no significant spots activity but there are extra curricular activities time to time. There are many clubs like photography club ,google devs club etc run by students. One thing to note is that this college focuses very much on your attendance and you'll feel like its a school not college. You will not get enough if you want to explore other things as well this will impact your restult very much.
Admission
I took admission through WBJEE. Application form can be found from wbjeeb.nic.in the exam usually takes place after 12th west bengal board exam's are just over and application dates starts in january month of every year. No improvement requiet admission process is simple and easy.
