My experience

Well chemical engineering dept. of IIT BHU is renowned for its upto date curriculum. Faculties are all talented and there is a separate tutorial session for those who have any doubts regarding the lectures and topics taught. There are 2 exams per semester: mid sem and end sems accompanied by quizzes.

There are many companies which offer us jobs like Google, Facebook, reliance etc. Our college also offers funds to those who want to start their own business. There are many opportunities in both core and non core fields

IITs are known for their excellent placements. Students get their internship from 3rd semester and before graduating they have jobs in their hand and those who want to opt higher studies get opportunities as well to study abroad.The overall placement percentage was around 90%. I also plan to get a job after my 4 year course completes.

Well as compared to other private colleges it's fees a little bit high but it's still worth giving that much money for the facilities we get to use and the quality of teaching we get. There are many types of scholarships we are eligible to avail. Some of them are offered by institute and some by government. We can also easily get loans if we find it difficult to pay fees.

There are many fests like kashiyatra(cultural fest), Technex(tech fest) and spardha(sports fest). There is a student activity centre with all sort of equipments for sports. A large library and a lot of clubs which we can join fir example photography club, media club, music club, dance club, mental wellness club and fashion club and much more.

Facilities we are provided are free wifi connection, geyser on every floor,etc. But the main problem we face in hostel is that 3 people have to share a single small room with only 2 cupboard so it sometimes cause difficulties. The quality of food we get is great and there is a large variety so we can choose what we want to eat. There are separate mess for vegitarian (satvik mess) and non vegetarian.

I got my admission after cracking JEE ADVANCED (only those who cleared cut off of jee mains are eligible to give jee advanced exam). It's form is filled after jee mains and it's fees is 1500. To opt for jee mains one must have more than 75% in 12th class with PCM as main subjects.
