The college isn't that good. I wont recommend anyone to get admission in the college unless he is unable to get in the sister branches. However there is Excellent staff in college.
Entrance Preview
No,there wasn't any entrance exam for me. As I completed my diploma in Mechanical, I wanted to do the Engineering in Mechanical engineering only. So I went for the course otherwise nothing to say much.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good. As the mechanical engineering is one alone the most important & core branch of Engineering, this thing is proven in the degree curriculum. As was expected in the diploma years. There is high focus on the practical learning to too. There are some of the research initiatives taken by the college on its own way.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. The college gives the internships in many different companies related to your fields. Recently in the last academic year the College asked is to submit the profile to the college. And accordingly the college gives us the opportunity to work in any company as internship. Its very good and we will to do it, maybe in the next semester. Don't know about the stipends given.
Placement Experience
Placement is held in central type that is held at the main campus of Sinhgad institutes at SINHAGAD VADGOAN campus. all the Sinhgad students are called there & then the placement system starts. The average package is around 4 lpa. Major companies visiting the college are TATA STEELS, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, CATERPILLAR, etc. Average students placed are around 60%
College Events
Yes. Many eye popping events are held. And among this the best is the cultural gathering which is named as SINHAGAD KARANDAK. All the sister institutes are called and here many open entries are done with the tickets govern to them. Here comes the foreign djs top play. Like CHAINSMOKERS, W&W, and many more. The average footfall is around 10k. The authorities manages every thing well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is fee isn't low but however it is quite affordable comparatively to the other colleges. Add there are many colleges in the city which demands high fees, but there aren't the adequate facilties provided. Our college fee for open category students is 89000/- That for the OBC is 45000k annually.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the scholarship is provided by the college. It is the government scholarships. But to only those who are allotted the college in the cap round process. The scholarship is different for different caste categories. I do avail one scholarship that is EBC freeship for open category students.
Campus Life
Yes there are plenty of extracurricular activities held in the college. Which includes the technical & non technical activities in the college. The college has NSS to get endure skills like teamwork & cooperativeness,etc. There are also the sport events held. But the college ground is too small. The college need to work on these even more.
Hostel Facilities
Yes the college provides the hostel facilities to the boys & girls. But the hostels aren't in the same campus of our college. It is located in the campus of its sister branch at SINHAGAD VADGAON which is around 5 km apart from college. I don't reside in the college hostel as the fees are too high. The fee for a year is around 1Lakh. The rooms are on sharing as well as single. The hostel fee is high. The mess facility must be good. Add i have never been in the hostel I'm just judging the things.
Alumni/Alumna
No the college don't have this facility provided in the college. No such alumnus come and have interaction with the students in the College. We guys are unaware of this things. The alumni surely deals with overall development of the candidates and the College.
Exam Structure
The exams are cool. The climate at exam is chill cultured & not stressful. But there's no compromise in the terms of discipline & rules. The exams & lobs aren't that frequent. Sometimes the labs makes us feel tired Because of the hectic schedule.
Faculty
Well experienced & good staff is recruited in the college. As it is also the one is the most important & required parameter in the college this days. As the fees taken are quite high the college is supposed to provided good faculties. They are very much interactive & sometimes friendly to their limits. The standards of teaching & delivering quality education is high & well maintained.
