AIEEE(GOT admitted through DTE counselling). I got admitted here with the help of DTE counselling which happens for all students who have appeared for AIEEE and other state oriented entrance test like OJEE WBJEE etc.

I did graduation in Electronics and Communication stream, it is one of the evergreen streams in Indian educational history. As we know that in India IT industry holds more space for jobs as compared to any other industry especially for a simple BE/BTECH graduate who wants to earn after graduation. So this course gives you the option of getting yourself into IT if you fail in getting into any core companies. My experience of learning was good as I was involved in one of the mega-projects on speech recognition with the help of MATLAB. Actually, it was a project of my final year project mentor's M TECH project, and I got a chance to work on the same with him as a part of my final year project too. In last two semesters, even you have the option of selecting subjects based on your interest like if-if you wanna study mobile communication-related thing you can go for mobile communication subject or you can opt for RADAR related subjects too. You have given 2 optional subjects in each 7th and 8 the semester based on your interest. Again in the 6th semester, you have an opportunity to learn something like VLSI design, PCB board designing. Overall my experience was great.

Yes they even recommend you for internships in govt. Units like GAIL,SAIL ,BSNL as a part of vocational training. I was given opportunity to work with BSNL for 1 month as I was from. ECE department.

Placement was average according to me. Overall 6 to 8 MNC visited our campus including indian giants like TCS ,L&THE Infotech , so if you have studied and prepared well you will get placed for sure from campus.

Throughout year there will be a lot of co-curricular activities inter and intra college both for all the department but in the year end there will be an annual event named as PACE will be held. This will be inter college event where a lot colleges of Nagpur and nearby cities participates including VNIT Nagpur. A lot of events like singing,dancing, painting, photography,quizzes, fashion show ,robot war,dj war etc takes place. I can assure the three days of PACE will be full of fun.

Fee structure was nominal as per AICTE and Maharashtra govt. Rule. I will say you will pay less here than any other state colleges for the value education.

Yeah scholarship are there for people who need in the light of required documents which is asked by the college management even college allows some needy students to pay their fees in two installments if asked.

Yeah a lot of activities happen as I have mentioned in above event columns. Above all you will get full chance of showcasing your hidden talents other than academic.

Hostels are there for both male and female students.Only negative aspect here is that hostels are not in campus , they are situated in nearby areas not very far but yes bus facility is given for commute but that is chargeable.

Yeah network is great in India as well as in abroad which will help you in later part of your career like for jobs and references.

Exams are conducted as per the rule of RTMNU. Internals will be there followed by externals and then written theory paper at the end. Some unit tests will be taken on each Monday to brush you up with all the things you have been thought in whole last week.

Faculty is one of the best part of this college. Starting from the first semester faculties will treat you like their own ward. There is a system of having 15 students under each teacher for better understanding of you can say one faculty is assigned per 15 student as their local guardian who will be helping you on academic as well as non academic levels.
