Course Curriculum Overview

Internal after completion of 1month course that is called MTA (Mid term assessment) End semester exam (ESA) after completion of respective semester . MTA is for 20 marks and ESA is of 70 marks and 10 marks for attendance, behaviour and assignment. Exams are easy to medium type , not difficult easy to pass.

I want to get a job just after completion my degree because I want to become self independent as soon as possible. After getting my job I will explore the world and my hobbies . I also want to do UPSC so after that along with my job I will prepare for it

Currently I am in 3rd semester so right now I didn't get any but there are many scholarships for the students who belongs to west Bengal and a girl child I didn't get any scholarship because I didn't apply for it

There are many groups in college which are run for students by the students like Sanskaran , sahotsava , Google developer students club tiu they guide us properly , swarakriti for singing,beat Busters etc

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
