All About SVIST From Scratch To Pro

The only thing I was impressed about this college was the friend faculty and professors in first year we got so many friendly faculty like SJD sir, Sreetama Ma'am, Sourabh Bal sir of Physics dept, from chemistry we got Legendary Arpan Sir and Manasi Ma'am both were awesome teachers. In 2nd year we got best computer teachers from out core CSE faculty Koushikk Sir, Brijit Sir, Pradipta Sir, KKJ sir, Jishnu Sir and Many more they are really awesome. Me And My Team Went to Punjab At Chandigarh Engineering College to represent our College at Smart India HACKATHON 2k23 for the very first time under Koushikk sir and Brijit Sir guidance. It was an overwhelming opportunity for our future.

At 3rd Year the students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Our College has pretty good companies that visited us like TCS, Congnizant, Bavitech, etc. My initial plans after getting the degree is based on the how the job market is at that time. The highest package that was offered last year was 11lpa.

The ROI(Return On Investment) is high in this college only if you give efforts and give your all and study hard for 4 years and do a bit less fun than other college students. And also you will get SVMCS if you have 60% scholarship form govt of West Bengal and our college is applicable in this program. You'll get 240000 in 4 years 60K every year only if you maintain a Good CGPA over 7 Pointer.

The environment is good at the college campus it is covered with guava gardens all around has basketball court and good indoor games facilities. Like Table Tennis, Carrom. And also has badminton court. We thought about starting a coding club at 2nd year and GDSC club at our college lets see if we can open our very own clubs. There is tech fest and also annual fest good bands like Fakira, Cactus, Riddles Performed at our college and our also has a own college band.

I took admission in SVIST at 2022 in CSE Under Graduate. One of my main reasons for admission in this college was the fees was less compared to other colleges and the placement rate was average neither good nor bad to be honest. But one good point about this college is there are regular classes there will be no free periods and the faculties are helpful. They're one of the best faculty. Our College also has a good library that has nearly all the books you'll require in your course you can rent out book whenever. The college is situated in Baruipur. The college has nice indoor games facilities carrom, Table Tennis ????, also there are cricket matches played in a basketball court quite ironic, coming to the main point how are the lab facilities? I would say straight up below average when I got admitted in SVIST. But I recently saw that they are upgrading all the machines of computer lab recently so I guess we will get good computers within the next semester. Our class rooms are full AC
