College with highly qualified teachers & average infrastructure

Good- The teachers were highly qualified & supportive, college campus was big, & greenery was there. Bad- Even The allotted seats in any course were not filled. The overall experience was good.

No entrance exam, admission was on marks basis. Through newspaper notification, I chose this college. No interview was conducted. I opted for B.A (Eng. Hons) bcz my background I had to compete in the general line competitive exams & also the college was not too far away from my house.

The course was well organised & teaching methodology was also very good. Very little focus was given on practical learning. No research initiatives was taken by the institute. Elective options such as Economics, Sociology, Hindi were available.

No, the college did not provide internship. But I did internship at my own from an institute in one of the subjects of the course. No stipend was given.

Placement scenario was not good i.e., no placements took place. As no plcements took place, no students were placed. No companies so no package.

Not too many fests were organised. Only few such as Excursions, Teachers day celebrations, & Freshers only. Fests were Not too big. Only about 100 was the avg footfall. The organization of the fests were very good as we students & also the teachers took part. Yes the college authorities contributed.

The fees was really low as it is a Govt. college under Magadh University, Bodhgaya. The fees details are- 1st yr- Rs 1599 2nd yr- Rs 1788 3rd yr- Rs 1788

Yes, the college provided scholarship but only to OBCs, SCs & STs. I did not avail any. No help was provided by the college in getting loan.

The college was good in terms of extracurriculars. Some of them were Inter college sports, workshop, seminars, etc. Yes, i got ample opportunities to explore my talent. The facilities were good for these extracurriculars.

No, i was not residing in hostel. Hostel rooms were spacious with 2 girls residing in each room i.e., it was on sharing basis. No PGs were available. The food was very tasty & delicious as I ate sometimes in the hostel mess.

Ni interaction was there with the alumni The college did not provide platform for such interaction. Yes they contributed a little bit.

The exams & labs were well organised & were not too frequent, means to say it was a chill culture.

The faculties were highly qualified having PhD degrees in respective subjects. They were very interactive while taking the classes. The standard of teaching was only good.
