Remarks

The only thing i hate about this College is the college fees. They mention something in the website which is totally different from reality. The college is autonomous college and so good for studies and for securing good marks.

Entrance Preview

The Entrance Exam was WBJEE and according to my rank and online counselling i got admitted to this college. There was no interview. I wanted to become an engineer so choose that course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good. The practical learning is good. Its better to get more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge. Till not no research initiative taken.

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn't provide any internship but you can do some training in other companies for which college gives permission. There's no stipend amount as for training we have to give fees to the training center.

Placement Experience

The placement in this College is good at least 80% of students placed every year. Major companies like TCS, ZYCUS, TECH MAHINDRA visit for recruitment and the average package is 3.5lac per anum.

College Events

There are lots of events organised by the college like annual technology fest which is the biggest one. The college organise the festival with very good budget and all of them are cooperative.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well the fees is to high. Its un affordable too for the middle class students. In a year you have to pay ₹ 1,60,000 just for tuition fee and few others. Fee structure is not mentioned in college website.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college only helps in getting loan from banks and provides few students scholarship according to merit.

Campus Life

Yeah college provides some extra curricular like robotics but i still didn't got opportunity to explore my inner talent.

Hostel Facilities

There are no hostel facilities for this college. We have to live in PGs outside. They don't have their PGs. Everything mentioned in their website is wrong.

Alumni/Alumna

There were no alumni meet in the college not even heard a alumni visit the college to motivate students.

Exam Structure

Of course there were regular exams and labs which makes every student tired not only me. But its good to give exams as practice makes the man perfect.

Faculty

The faculties are well qualified with M.tech and few with PhD. They are interactive too and share their knowledge with the students.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

obviously other governments colleges ike JU , JGEC and CU are better than it but our college placement is better than otehr privet colleges and the environment of our college is best for study.
