Course Curriculum Overview
CSE of PEC has very good placement, college provides a lot of placement and internship opportunities. There is no reservation for girls in admission so, ratio is not soo good but in cse ratio is 1:5 All the faculties are highly qualified, having PhD degrees. Exams are held twice in a sem and difficulty level is not so high.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of internship opportunities in our college. 50+ companies visited college to hire students for internship, an average stipen of 30k is provided. Internship is held in 6th semester and grades of 6th sem are provided on the basis of internship.
Placement Experience
Placements are good, students become eligible for internship in 6th sem, college provides a lot of internship opportunities, Also a lot of companies visit college for internship and placements. Highest package is 86LPA by Atlassian to 6 students. And average package is 18LPA After degree I want to take job, and focus on on-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The approx tuition fees for 4 years is about 8Lac and 80k per year hostel and mess fees is extra. Fees is hike yearly, about 5-10% every year. As such there is no scholarship for general students, but there are scholarships for pwd students and for some more categories.
Campus Life
Annual Fest of college is PECFEST, which is one of the biggest fest of Northern India, It is conducted mostly in November, biggest stars like sunidhi chauhan, hardy Sandhu, Javed Ali, are invited I this fest. Library is also average, almost all books are available there. There are a lot of extra circular activities held in college, and it gives a great exposure to the students. For sports there is annual athletic meet. There are lot of cultural and technical clubs run by students. There are about 10 technical and 10 cultural clubs. Students can join any of the clubs according to their interest.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is average, the rooms are old, but all the facilities are provided in the hostels, hostels remains clean, geysers are installed in the bathrooms. Meal quality is below average. Hostels are quite expensive, around 80k for year and about 30k extra for mess. For rent a room there are many options, like in sector 11, sector 15 and many other options.
Admission
For admission you have to clear JEE mains entrance exam. For CSE you should have minimum 98.5 percentile in JEE MAINS, admission is held through JOSAA counselling, application process is same as that OF NITs, some seats are reserve for SC/ST, EWS 50% seats are reserved for Tricity students.
