Course Curriculum Overview
For mechanical engineering, IIT BHU is the best college because it creates a perfect environment for it and also it is the oldest branch of engineering at IIT BHU. 1:23 is the student faculty ratio here. The exams here are conducted so well.
Placement Experience
Here you can apply for internship through college in 3rd year odd sem or also called as 5th sem and you can apply for campus placements at 7th sem or called as 4th year odd sem. Here the highest package is 1.68 crore and average package is 30 lakhs per annum. My plans are to apply for campus placements and see where it goes.
Fees and Financial Aid
Actually to say, IIT BHU has the lowest fees to be paid compared to other IITs. Even though it has the least fee structure, the facilities they provide are the best. There are numerous scholarship here to apply for and financial assistance is also provided here.
Campus Life
Campus Life at IIT BHU is the best. Here you will get many options for joining a club and even you might have kind of confusion of which club to join. Here all clubs are amazing. And here comes the best part The "Kashiyatra". Kashiyatra is the name of the cultural fest of IIT BHU which is conducted in January of each year. There will be talk shows, fashion shows, stand up comedy and the best part Concerts????????. Then comes out Technex which is tech fest of IIT BHU conducted in February. If you are someone always interested in science and technology, this is the best fest you can ever visit.
Hostel Facilities
Here hostels are good. To say IIT BHU has the best mess food compared to other IITs. Here there is no restriction for electronic gadgets which can be used in hostel rooms. Here during winters it is very cold yet you can use heaters.
Admission
To join this college you have to first give jee mains exam where you have to score at 90 percentile in general category and if you have scored above 90 percentile then you are eligible to give Jee advanced where you have to score rank lying in the range 1000 - 23000 (depends on your category) to take admission in in any course. The rank to score differs for each course. Note : There is difference between percentage and percentile.
