Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of many job opportunities. Faculty: student is just ok. Very friendly and well educated faculties. There are two terms exam during a semester and a semester exam at last. If you follow class, it is not difficult to pass the exam.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I think the cost of study is very high as compared to service and facilities. Fees is 85000 per semester. No scholarship available. Only students credit card available and govt scholarship available. This year job facility is very poor.

Campus Life

One time annual fest, tech fest per year. It will conduct at the month of January. National library available. Bench with desk available. Many social groups and clubs is available for students. Sports and extra curricular activities also available.

Admission

You have to 12th pass with science stream and you need to sit any entrance exam (wbjee, jee mains, IEMJEE). Or you can get direct admission. You find all details on websites or at college campus or ashram building.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
