Remarks
It was a wonderful decision to introduce aptitude classes for the students from 3rd year. For me I had a mixed experience in the college. At the beginning I had I tight time to adjust to the strict rules and regulations of the college but now I am suited to it.
Entrance Preview
I wrote both JEE MAINS & WBJEE and was selected through WBJEE but for my JEE MAINS rank. There was no interview process. I was always interested towards the fascinating world of science so I opted for this course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very good and its more practical oriented. Last year we used RASPBERRY PI in our SENSORS LAB which no other batches before us had done. I do not have much knowledge about the research initiatives by the Institute.
Internships Opportunities
No the college didn't provide an internship till now. Although I did a vocational training in the semester break but being in the 3rd year I hope to get an internship soon.
Placement Experience
As far as I know most ofvour students got placed this year. Our college tops the list of private colleges in West Bengal for placement. The major recruiters being TCS, CTS, NRI FINTECH, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS, SANKALP SEMICONDUCTORS, etc. The average package stands somewhere between 3.5-4 lakhs.
College Events
The college organizes the annual tech fest named INNOVACION which is quite popular. This year the cultural fest is named IEMPACT.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is quite affordable for a student like me belonging from a middle class background to continue my studies. Its roughly around 40,000 per semester and an extra 30,000 during the admission time.
Fees and Financial Aid
No the college didn't provide any scholarship. I didn't avail any scholarship or loan.
Campus Life
Regular inter departmental sports tournaments are organized. I actively take part in football and cricket.
Hostel Facilities
No I reside in private mess. There is no hostel within the campus. But the ones outsides provide the necessary facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
The college provided grounds for alumni interaction quite a few times.
Exam Structure
For me it was not at all tiring.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified in their respective fields. They are very interactive with the students. The standard of teaching is up to the mark.
