Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because of my interest. Faculty is moderate & helpful.Student ratio avarage 70%. Faculty members are highly qualified & helpful. Term exams are per month & not to difficult to pass the exam.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 1 lakh avarage per year.I think that not so high number but in a a middle class family that's also a big thing to remember. I got SVMC scholarship per year.That helps me a lot though i belong to a middle class family.

Campus Life

Annual fest(Spandan) & a tech fest held every year. Books are highly available in library. Amenities of classrooms are good. Sports & extra curriculum activities are available in this campus.A inter college departmental sports competition also held in campus every year.

Admission

Admission process was through Wbjee & Jee Main.I admitted in this college through direct admission in the basis of jee mains rank.I have got 80 percentile in jee main. I have satisfied in their admission process & hope they improve the process in future.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
