Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is updated with time to keep the students updated with new tech. The faculties in the CST CSIT department are very knowledgeable and cooperative in nature. They help us in any sort of issues. We have our project mentors allocated as well. We have 2 term exam and one main sem exams.
Internships Opportunities
Software Engineering roles, developer roles and other roles such as data analyst roles are offered in internships. Internships are both remote as well as work in office provided. Mostly one single and one group project is necessary to sit for the internships.
Placement Experience
From the 7th Semester the student is eligible to take part in campus placements. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and many other companies visit the campus for recruitment procedure. Product based companies, startups as well visit the campus. Startups also recruit but are very less in number. Preparation is also done so that students can pursue higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike mid sem We pay 70000 per semester. Students under BPL get financial assistance and scholarships are also available for them. Financial assistance is provided to new ventures and startups as well. Financial assistance is provided to new tech projects and parents. MNCs come for hiring students. Placement is good.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good. All types of competition and cultural as well as tech events take place throughout the year. We have our distinctive clubs working side by side with students initiatives. We have more than 10 to 15 clubs in our university. A person can be a part of more than one club. We have Ureckon one the biggest Techno-management fest and Ecstacia which is the cultural fest. Sports Club is very active. We have Cricket, Football, Basketball, Badminton, and many other sports team.
Admission
The admission process was smooth enough. I contacted the admission cell, and as my school grades were high and I had a percentile about 80 in Jee mains, though an admission test was taken previously which is not taken now maybe. Then after getting a call from the admission cell went to the office and then filled the form to get admission.
