Likes

The college environment is attractive to me a lot.
I liked exam procedure and quality of questions
The placement cell is very impressive.In this college wipro, L&T, TCS come for placement

Dislikes

Class routine was very bad and condition of departmet classrooms are very bad.
In practical labratory instruments are very old and some of computers are not working .
Some teacher's behaviour is very rude teaching styles are not suitable for me

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosed mathematics hons because i love this subject. Faculty: student ratio is approx 10 students per teacher. 90% of faculties are P.hD holder. There was 2 internal exam one conducted offline and another one conducted in online .End semester exam conducted in offline.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In midnapore college course fees are more costly as compared to any other colleges. This college approves every governmental and non governmental scholarship like SVMCM,NSP, Inspire, Oasis ,Jindal etc. which is the best policy according to me.

Campus Life

Every derptment of midnapore college celebrates individually freshers party for new students and farewell party for last year students. Every month every derptment conduct an seminar at Vivekananda hall . All subjects and all kinds of books are available in college library. Every year college conducts a sports event.

Admission

Now to get admission in midnapore college applicant should passed his 12 th board with minimum 80% marks and minimum 85 % marks in specific subject for hons.No admission test conducted by the college.Selection process will depends only on merit based . The candidate can apply for admission by using Midnapore college official website.

Good academics with limited internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

I love my college.

I applied at pravat kumar college at contai,purba Medinipur and get confirmed admission but the infrastructure of that institute is not so good but our college have a quiet impressive faculties and infrastructure. I was not rejected by any college I applied.
