Likes

There have so many games playing oppertunity, like cricket, football, vollyball, etc.
In the college inside there are a gym for students.
The discipline of this college is much good.

Dislikes

Fees structure are very bad. If it some low cost then more better for many students.
Some times we first years students face to college ragging.
Teachers are good but some teachers teaching capability is not fair.

Yeah the course curriculum and faculty members are much better. I choose this mechanical engineering course because in this time many students choose CSE but I think there are so many compitition. For that reason I choose ME. And our teachers and faculty members always appreciated us for it.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 557200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure was not good. Because we the 1St year students choose this college for lower fees structure. But at the last moment when our registration was done the fees are gained from 367000 to 557200. This is a huge ammount for those middle class students and their family members.

Campus Life

Yeah the life their is much beautiful. There are many clubs and they are always try to arrange many types of cultural programs. Also many fest program they were arranged. Some seniors are helpful about it.

Admission

I first complete my HS exam. Then I discussed my career with my family members and finally, I decided to study at an engineering college. Then one of my friends suggest Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College. And I went there for direct payment admission.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
