Course Curriculum Overview
I opted commerce stream in after my 10th grade and a dream to get into SRCC, as I did. After coming to college, I got very brilliant faculty in each semester. In my section, there were around 50 students and for subjects were there in 1st semester. For each subject, there was a faculty. . Most of them were PhD. And their pedagogies were different, unique yet amazing. Exam are conducted in the fifth month of semester. They were given 3 months time to cover up the entire syllabus and in the fourth month, internal exams are conducted, then externals in 5th month.
Internships Opportunities
A few companies come to college every year to provide internship opportunities and students who get the internships from the college itself receive good amount of stipend as well, considering current market situation.
Placement Experience
From 5rh semester onwards, a student becomes eligible for campus placements. There are a lot of companies that visit the college during the placement season every year like BCG, Bain, McKenzie, Deloitte, etc. Highest package every year is around 36 LPA. Average package is around 12 LPA. Out of 1200 students, 400 students get placements every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is like, for almost every student belonging to any category, the fee is almost the same, around 28k a year. Anf for 3 years course, its 86k in total. But for PWD students, it's only 60 or 70 rupees a year and overall some 200 rupees for a 3 years course. Various scholorships are available in the college pertaining to academics, sports and many more.
Campus Life
Campus life is thrilling. I have experienced a lot, gained new things and improved my social interaction. One can enhance my of the skills like communication, cognitive and analytical skills. There is a library in my college where I spend substantial amount of time.
Admission
I registered myself for the admission process in Delhi university. Then, cutoffs were released. I got admitted into SRCC. There were no entrance tests at that time. Selections were on the basis of your 12 grade results. I have reservation but won't tell here in this question. In the current scenario, no improvements are required as the basis now is entrance test(CUET)
