Course Curriculum Overview
Since my father was in the engineering field, I wanted to follow it as well, and so decided to go for Mechanical engineering. And the course curriculum and faculty members were very good in my college, they were experienced and the college is pretty strict towards the academics.
Placement Experience
Back in my days, the placement drives were not so frequent, especially for branches like mechanical, civil etc but for branches as cse IT, it is always good. Companies do come for these branches and also for MBA bba students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees back in my days were 69,000 per semester. However, if you are getting into through your JEE ranks and all, you get a hefty scholarship. Apart from that, if you have good grades in boards, you also get scholarship based on that.
Campus Life
It's a complete city inside the campus. It has everything. You might get lost in the campus, it's that big. It has all the facilities that you can dreamt for, including a fully functional hospital, a great mall, many banks and ATMs and what not.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels were pretty decent, neat and clean with all the facilities that is required for a living. The wardens are very disciplined and strict, and why not, most of them are retired army officials. The food is also good, overall its a good place to live to, make fun with friends as well as to study hard.
Admission
After I completed my 12th, I went on searching for colleges to take admission for higher studies. To pursue engineering was always pre planned in my case, and so I went for it. One of my father's friends was working there in LPU, and he only suggested me to take admission there. And since I had decent grades in boards, they let me join the university with decent scholarship, which is helpful for me. That's how I joined the university.
Other Applied Colleges
Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Tuition fees was very high. I couldn't afford to pay the fees at that time.
