Course Curriculum Overview

I choose b. Com honours because I scored brilliantly in commerce and accounts. The staff and faculty of this college is amazing and we get to learn new things. Teachers are highly qualified and exams are held twice which prepares us in a better manner

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 33000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not so expensive. Yearly fees of this college is ?33000/year. Students who got above a certain percentage gets scholarship which helps in reducing the amount of fees payment. The cost of study is reasonable

Campus Life

Our college runs several campus and there are many events. Events help students to socialize with one another which helps in increasing bond among people and people of similar mindset tends to understand about each other's future plan and can relate with one another

Admission

The admission process was quite simple and easy. I did nt take any entrance exam. The process begins with filling up of college form which requires certain details. After few days, list comes out. Registered students can either make online payment or pay in cash.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

You need to score a minimum of 75% aggregate in your board exams to get into our college. The admission process is relatively easy and all you need to do is just fill out the admission form on the official website of the college and submit it online after paying an amount of 500.
