A renowned college in kanpur

Overall experience of the college was good enough for me . I think college should focus more on their management activities because some where or the other management is lacking behind a little bit otherwise college is good in terms of studies and faculties .

No the admission in this college is purely on the basis of marks you get in your graduation, a merit list is being declared & the cutoff for this college is very high. It is one of best college in Kanpur and plus I had to do specialization in Physics and Physics faculty is awesome..

The course selected by me was taken up because I had deep interest in physics . There were frequent lab visits and practical knowledge was given more importance rather than just the classroom teaching . Research intiatives were taken by the professors .

There was a intenship program of 1 n half month which was compulsary for all students to take . Students can apply this from outside as well as take companies from college as well . A proper 1 n half month internship officially was provided by the college for all students and compulsarily also .

Many people got placed in the recruitment selection process conducted by the college . Mostly companies used to come in the month of nov december and january . Ample amount of companies came . Approximately 80 % of students got placed in this process .

Various events were organised by the cultural commitee in the college . The college commitee took special care regarding the overall success of the program .

The fee structure was nominal and affordable for all students . Total fees for 2 years was about 7000 approximately excluding the books . for 1st year the fees was 3500 rs .

Yes , college provide scholarships to the students . Those students who have constanlty 80% and above in their graduation course and 12th board are given priviliged on this section .

I got ample opportunities to explore my inner talent . Their were ramp shows organised by the college committee. There were many sports activities conducted by the college .

There was no hostel facility for boys but 2 hostel were there for girls .

Overall development of the college was looked upon very seriously . Alumni network was not very interactive and strong . Yes , college did provide with a proper platform for student - alumni interaction .

Exams were not hectic for anybody in the college . On a regular basis the college conducted exmas so that the course can be covered and plus the course was less at the end of the semester .

The faculty had an experience of about more than 8 years in the same field . Teachers were much interactive in the classroom . they helped weaker students more by giving them more chance to come forward in the class and share their experience on various topics .
