Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTech (CSE) as I have a keen interest over computer software of how they are developed, working procedure,logic . We have total 30-40 faculty and 743 students in CSE branch. Cycle test is done twice a semester and after that all practical and viva exam been done followed by semester. Exam done are quite neutral as question bank are provided to the students for practical purpose

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 205000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I haven't done any internship from our college but previous year college has provided offline internship to the students who had opt for and the internship period was of 60 days Project were done along with various tools

Placement Experience

Student become eligible for placement drives in 7th semester Companies like Congnizent,IBM,Wipro, Infosys offer placement and offers package from 2-8 lakh Highest package offered is 15 lakhs and the average is 4-6 lakh Percentage of students getting placement is decreasing although we have 95% placement opportunities To get a job in any IT company and prepare for civil exam

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is affordable enough though we had a price hike in hostel fees and registration process. I am currently enroyin State Scholarship Portal and I'm in 3rd year 6th semester and we'll get our campus from upcoming semester

Campus Life

Annual fest and tech fest are done on yearly basis I don't know about the availability of any particular book but till now I have got the book I have searched for. Sports like cricket, badminton tournament are done periodically along with volleyball,bootball Clubs like GDSC club,C^3 club are available for students to learn and is run by students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are quite good , rooms are good enough. We have the option for 2 bed , 3 bed and 4 bed. Meal quality have increased a lot though I will rate it as average Registration for hostel is easy but quite costly as price have hiked a little I haven't rented any room or PG

Hostel Fee: INR 72000 per year

Admission

The admission process was easy but quite lengthy, we had to move from one counter to another for application, registration, etc To decrease the time interval for admission and application form fill up

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
