The course is very futuristic and the faculty members are very friendly.I think is course is very futuristic so it's help me in future so I choose this course.In our department there are 40students and 8 faculty members so the ratio is 1:5.

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college the fees is 350000 .In our college all type scholarship are approved, facility of student loan is also available in our college.The placement record of our college is very good.Before the semester exam fees is collected by the college .The fees is divided by semester.

Campus Life

Our college campus is so big there is football ground and also a vollyball court.There are so many indoor games like table tennis.chess etc.In our college there is a big library in the library syllabus wise all books are available.There are smart class room available, seminar hall is also available.Every year annual sports are conducted.There are so many cultural program are conducted

Admission

The admission process was rank-wise, Eligibility of the course is you have to either clear the wbjee exam or if you have passed the diploma then you have to clear the jeelet exam. I found the application from Google and the application fee is 500 rupees and I applied for this on August 2023. I have no reservation benefits. The main disadvantage of this admission process is it is very time-consuming, the improvement I need for this admission process is to manage the time of admission.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
