Course Curriculum Overview

Nowadays craze of CSE is getting high and this college is good for CSE branch as it also provides specialisation course like data science,AIML Faculty ratio is also good here and they are also very good, knowledgeable, sincere about students. All are well qualified

There were many internships provided by the college as our college have dev fest in which we have provided internships opportunities,and also we have provided internships opportunities by Microsoft,we can also go through off campus opportunities

Placement Experience

From 6 semester only students are ready for placement s. Seventy percent get placed in campus placement.companies like TCS,Wipro,Tata, Amazon,etc.you can also enroll for MBA here after bachelor as this college is among the best top 2 colleges in Kolkata.

Fees and Financial Aid

Comparing from other private colleges fees structure is good and there were many scholarship ,if you are good at studies then you can applied and teachers were also so helpful in providing financial assistance

Campus Life

College life is very beautiful, infrastructure is also good and there were many clubs in which students can explore themselves.Our college annual fest is Blitz which is very fantastically celebrate in our college.All labs, classroom are well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very average type,if you are thinking to take hostel facilities here then you have to adjust a lot like sharing a room with four unknown ones.Food is ok ok here ,not so good at the price. You can get better facilities in the locality in this range of fees.

Admission

The admission process was made very easy and handy . So there wasn't any issue regarding the process with the guidance . But I think it could be improved by making it a little bit more faster cause it was a little time consuming.

Interview Experience

Yes I have written wbjee entrance exam to get in this college and if you are getting admission through management quota then you have to pay a amount then you have to go through a small interview by management

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur.
