Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I was interested in computer science and even had a bit of knowledge Faculty is 50 and students are 200 They have good qualification & teaching method is far more better. Exams are at a gap of 6 months and they are average to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost to study is avg as compared to other colleges. This is providing us with great skills. So I think this is not bad. No opted scholarship.As I was not eligible for it. But had tried my best for them.

Campus Life

Only fest and tech fest also annually in the month of February. Books are not that much available. We need to download PDFs and all use is a hustle task to do. Sports are available life volleyball, badminton,all indoor games, and cricket Many social groups and clubs are there run by students and are managed by faculties. I am a member of the expression club itself.

Admission

10th pass, 12th pass. Google. No not required as such. No not required as such. The college has a better faculty. Classes are good enough and teachers are good and they teach us topics in an interesting way. 75% Attendance is necessary.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur.
