- There are many different courses which are available in our college.
- Campus area is good with a garden and basketball play area.
- Good number of faculties are available which are having proper qualification.
Dislikes
- No proper placement is available for the students.
- The placement salary is very low for our department.
- Few teachers are very irresponsible and does not teaches properly.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I like the medical field and dealing with drugs. There are total 60 students and 15 faculties who teaches different different subjects. Some faculties have done M.Pharm and few also did PhD. All teachers are not so good in teaching they hardly teaches any thing in class. Some teaches very good and sincerely they explain the topics very nicely. There are total 2 internal exams of 30 marks of both theory and practical subjects. And 75 marks of semester exam in the end.
Internships Opportunities
There are not various companies which visit in our college only few companies like cipla and dr reddy visit and they also select 5-10 students and there annual salary package is also very less near around 2.5 lakhs. I will not recommend my college for studying pharmacy.
Placement Experience
After the 6th semester the student become eligible for campus placement. Cipla and dr. reddy these two companies visit for our department. Very few students gets the placement like out of 60 only 5 - 10 get the placement. My plan is to work in the field of industry in any private company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fees of B.Pharm is 5.5 lakhs, they are taking Rs.1,14,400 as the admission charge and Rs.54575 for each semester fees (for all 8 semester). Both Central Government and State government scholarships are available like Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Scholarships, NEC Merit Scholarship, etc. About the campus there are various companies which arrive like cipla, dr. reddy etc.
Campus Life
Freshers fest and Swami Vivekananda fest occurs in January. Diwali Fest occurs in Diwali. And there are also various seminar take place related to technology and pharmacy. Books are available in the library, all subjects books are available it is very good. Sports competition take place with different colleges like football, cricket, basketball.
Admission
For B.Pharm course the student must need to pass out 12th standard with minimum 60% marks. The student must need to give the entrance exam like WBJEE or NEET. The application form given by the faculties who are in charge for the admission process, they also provide the admission fees and the fees structure of the course. Admission generally starts from April. No reservation of seats are available.
