Remarks

It was an amazing experience to be there. Those are the best years of my life. I have learned many lessons in life from there.

Entrance Preview

I got admission on merit basis. My percentage fell in the cut off range and I took admission. I wanted to pursue this course that's why I chose this.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mathematics. It's used in daily life not only just addition subtract but the arithmetic and it develops logical thinking. Many seminars were organized by the mathematics department.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college didn't provide any internship. Students have to look for internship on their own. The stipend of those was according to the work.

Placement Experience

College provided many opportunities for students to enroll in the recruitment drives. The average package was of 3-5 lac.

College Events

The annual fest had been celebrated every year and departmental fest too also held. The footfall was quite big.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Affordable. 7,500 yearly Around 30,000 including all types of fees + Transportation which is given by the Delhi Govt. For the students.

Yes, the college provided scholarship to the students from the weaker section. No, the college didn't help in getting some loan.

College was very active in organizing extracurricular activities. Many opportunities were provided to students to enhance their talent.

No, I wasn't residing in hostel. And there wasn't any hostel facility provided by the college. There were some PGs nearby to choose from.

There wasn't much interaction with the alumni. There wasn't any proper platform for Student- alumni interaction. No, not much.

Exam Structure

No exams and labs weren't very frequent sufficient time had been given to the students to think and process their learning. It was a chill culture in the college.

Faculty

Brilliant teachers. All are the iitians N they are teachers cum friends. They did not teach mathematics only... They teach us how to overcome life problems.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
