Dislikes

Canteen food, Behaviour of faculties to students.
Toilets are very bad condition it's very unhigenic.
If you travel in bike or car,if you want to park the bike and car in campus, there is very small place to park the vehicles.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for better future, there is alot opportunities information Technology field. Our college have very good faculty and students ratio. The qualification of the faculties M.Tech and CSIR NET. The terms of the exams are twice in a year and medium exam papers there is no difficulties to pass the semester.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th Semester students become eligible campus placement, the company visit in our campus TCS digital,Virtusa, Wipro,Nutanix,Key sight,congnizent, Accenture....etc. The highest package in FY23 is 38lpa and the average package is 6 lpa. Around 80 percents students getting placement through on campus. My plan after getting the degree to joint the job which I get through on campus in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike policy in our college have fixed fees for any curriculum, if you get through. If you are from West Bengal you got svmcm scholarship,if you secure 6 cgpa in every year. Our college is very good in placement and on campus placement gurrenty.

Campus Life

In February our college have annual fest name fiesta ,there are many tech fest held in our college. For example electronics enovation, robotics workshop...etc. there are many clubs present in our college like coding club, hardware club, welfare club...etc.

Admission

To eligible for this course, have to secure minimum 59000 rank in WBJEE. There is reservation for sc,st,obc. There is lot more improvement for our college in admission process. There is very frequent admission in our college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
