Course Curriculum Overview
My aim was always to be inovative so I decided to take up this course and the the average package of this college quite impressive . The college faculties are highly qualified and helpful . The exams are taken timely and the difficulty is moderate just like any other college.
Internships Opportunities
There are a bunch of companies that offer internship oppurtunities. Students are doing their internships in companies like Amazon,Microsoft,google etc . There are also students where the the compaies have also offered a pre placement offer due to their impressive contribution in their internships.
Placement Experience
Generally from 3rd yr , students can start applying for internship and on campus placements . The placement scenario is quite good . the average package varies between 5 - 10 LPA. Students this year have got internship opprtunities in companies such as MICROSOFT , AMAZON , DUALITE , etc. This year , highest package is 60LPA(OFF CAMPUS) till now .
Fees and Financial Aid
Since it is a Government funded college so the fees is as minimal as possible . For departments such as: Computer Science and Engineering the fees is 15 k per academic session and for Information Technology department it is 30k per annum.
Campus Life
The campus is fully green and has all the facilites for sports etc. The annual cultural fest is known as JECLAT which is the biggest cultural fest in the North Bengal. There are many clubs and societies in the college such as coder's club,Pandulipi,Calliphony etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are expected as government college.In 1st yr and 2nd yr , 3 students share a single room , in 3rd yr , 2 students share a single room and in 4th yr , single rooms are alloted. The food quality is average as expected in college hostels.
Admission
In order to take addmission in this college you have to appear in WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM (WBJEE). All details regarding the addmission procedure can be found in the college website itself. The addmission procedure is a smooth process where the college faculty makes sure that the addmission is completed.
