- We have various types of clubs for like cyber security we have centre for innovation we have gdsc we have coded club we have many others clubs for dance singing play etc
- Our faculties are very helpful they help us every way they can not only the help us with their teaching everytime but also the help us with in every project
Dislikes
- The exams are a little to hard so the students have to study very hard
- College is in a little remote area it is like 40 km from Siliguri and just beside the city Jalpaiguri
- The capacity of hostel is little less than overall students that's why some students are not able to get hostel
Course Curriculum Overview
Im very interested about electronics and communication engineering.i also like to make projects on electronics like line following robots and many other projects. The faculty members are awesome not only the teach very good but also help us on every project . The teacher student ration is like 6:1.Most of our teachers have PhD or mtech in relevant branch.the exams are a little hard and we have 2 internal and one semester exam in a semester.
Internships Opportunities
Aur college have various types of internship opportunities most of the internships are coming from like Microsoft and Google Amazon etc but we have also what internships for very other types of students if students on to get an internship the training and placement cell helps the students to get the internship various companies appear to give internship.
Placement Experience
The place ments are more then good according to me We have like 98% placement and the highest package was 63.5 lpa and the average package is 8 lap. More then 30 company visit our collage like Amazon media.net tcs CTS cognizant KPMG etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of leteral entery is approx 47000 in three years. For regular students it a little more .we get svmcm scholarship if they have more then 60% marks in every year 60000 rs. If someone is unable to get scholarship then they can apply for tuition fees wabier scheme.
Campus Life
Our campus is very big it's like 170 acers.we have 5 hostel 2 football ground 1 cricket ground 1 vollyball ground 1 basketball court.1 gym.we get 2 fest every year sristi is the techfext and jaclet is the normal fest.we have a full-fledged central library full of books and also every department have their own departmental library. We have sports club and they sports where other colleges also participate. We have clubs like cyber security, centre for innovation,gdsc,and many more
Admission
I appeared for jelet exam 2023 and ranked 415 the cutoff rank of electronics and communication engineering lateral was 446 in leteral entery. For leteral you have to pass diploma in engineering on any branch from a aicte recognised college.you have to be a resident of West Bengal. The application is in wbjee website jelet exam.this college has reservation benifits.the admission process is amazing.
