Course Curriculum Overview
I chosed this course because i had a keen interest on computer science so to explore in the field of computer science i joined this course.the faculty members here are so much supportive. you can do research if you have any interest under their guidance.they are all phd level faculty, in the case of my depertment two of our faculty members completed their mtech and phd from iit madras.in every 6 months term exams is conducted and if you have moderate level knowledge you can those exams.
Internships Opportunities
Recently celebal technologies, tatapower ,hpl, tata steel,ctc,ibm,tcs give get roles to our college students .you have make certain projects and cp for noncore to carify the tasks,around 60 got internship opportunity from oncampus drive.
Placement Experience
From 7 semester studets are elligible for apply for placements .last year cognizant tcs, capgemini, ibm ,tata power ,hpl,etc visited in our campus and arroun 204 students grabbed placements.the highest package was 64 lakhs arround 90 % of the students got placed.I want to join a prodect based company like google.
Fees and Financial Aid
In every semester you have to pay around 15000 rupees. There is various kinds of scholarship you can avail like svmcm ,oasis etc.you can get opportunities of internship and full time offer also , the average package of our campus is arround 3 lakhs.
Campus Life
The life of the campus is so much allive, every year on march there is a social fest name JECLAT is organised by our college seniors, also there is a tech fest called sristi is happened every year on october, also there is dipecta and viswakarma puja is also held in our campus.There are so many clubs in our campus like dnc,cfi,dance club, caliphony,ajantrik etc.there is a sports club in our campus also where various types of sports like cricket vollyball football table tannis is also played.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostel you can share your room with two person .I the room the lan service electricity cot table almirah are provided .The quality of the meal is well an good .In our college website every year you can register for the hostel.Hostel fees is affordable you have to pay 16000 for 6 months.
Admission
In order to apply for this college you need to qualify west bengal joint entrance examination conducted by wbjee board.Any 10+2 student can apply for this examination.if you are a general candidate you must secure a merit rank of below 4 thousand. you can get the application form from wbjee board.
