Review of AOT

I chose this course as it was introduced by TCS and subject combination is also interesting. Faculty:Student ratio is 1:10. All Faculty members are well qualified. Some of them are from IIT's as well. Term exams are taken as per the schedule given by MAKAUT as AOT is affiliated to MAKAUT. Papers were moderate and not too difficult to pass.

Companies- Cognizant Technology Solutions, DRDO, Computer Society of India, HP pvt. Ltd. etc. These companies give the students opportunity to take internships in summer and help them to enhance professional competence. A final year project has to be done by the students in the last year of their graduation which gives them inspiration and confidence to do more projects in future.

From yth semester, Students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like CTS, TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. And no. Of offers made was approximately 1000. Highest package in 2023 was 23.72 LPA and algorithms package was 4.5LPA. Percentage of students getting placement in 2023 was 147.36% and still counting. I'm thinking of pursuing MBA after getting the degree

Now I am in 3rd semester and till now I didn't face any fees hike policy in Academy of Technology. They are taking the fees as they said. Though they are taking 12000 rs extra in even semesters for the sake of training. SVMCM scholarship and student credit card scheme are available. I am in Second year. So still now I don't get any job.

Annual fest namely ARCADIA happens in the month of April. Technical seminars also take place throughout the year. Students often face shortage of study books in the library but the journals are too good. Classrooms are well ventilated, big, clean. Enough seats are there. Projectors are often used to teach.sports like cricket, football,basketball are played in the college and also in national level. Students' chapter of each streams are there and GDSC AOT is the popular one which are run by Students. Resourcio is also a community which ws started by an AOT student.

I took admission in Academy of Technology through WBJEE. Admission process was quite smooth. I am in Computer science and Business System stream. The cutoff rank for availing this stream was 20k.
