Course Curriculum Overview

If u studied seriously u can pass every semester which will held in every 6 months.if u studied 4 hours seriously u can easily pass.There is four continuous assessment and two practical continuous assessment and final semester.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 97000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

U will get Swami Vivekananda's scholarship of amount 60000 per year . According to rule u can persue one government scholarship and any other private scholarship . Like other colleges our college will not create any problem for availing any scholarship.

Campus Life

Neophytes are arranged for first year. Annual sports are arranged by the college every year for boys and girls separately. There are lots of books in our college and there is no shortage and varities of pharmacy books are available.

Admission

For b.pharm, u must have a science background that means in higher secondary education u have to combination of PCB.And 60% marks required for admission in B. Pharm.Then u have to crack WBJEE or JEE exams. Then u get a chance to take admission in B.Pharm course, from where u can make ur career bright.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
