My view towards our College

I got selected during the counselling of the WBJEE exam. In the choice filling process i applied to other prestigious colleges such as Techno Mains, BPPIMT, KALYANI UNIVERSITY and so on. I got selected in my college during the counselling and the admission took place according to the WBJEE guidelines of admission. When i was applying for engineering colleges , i hade a few criteria in my mind thats is affordability, placement and potential. I applied for Netaji Subhas Engineering College (NSEC) and also got confirmed admission but its fees structure was 15-20% higher than my current college RCCIIT & also it was very less accessable and had no hostel facilities. I choosed this college because it is autonomous and government run by the State of West Bengal and is affordable and also has good accessability with satisfactory placement report . Yes i got rejection from some other colleges ,i didnt make it due to my WBJEE rank being not any good .My score was below their cutoff You can join RCCIIT by WBJEE counselling through your JEE or WBJEE scores .Almost 80% students are inducted through WBJEE and 20% is left for JEE students .College has no management quota .The cutoff for WBJEE for RCCIIT starts from 10,000 for CSE and runs upto 90,000 for Electrical Engineering...Read More

I have very bad rank in wbjee i didn't got any college. I got only two college one is rcciit and other one is techno India university so the course fees are almost same and that time I thought rcciit was semi govt so after 4 years it may improve their placement facilities but I was totally wrong they didn't care about students And most importantly they told me that it is semi govt but reality is it is not semi govt it is purely private college So basic eligibility is you have to pass class 12 with pcm and overall aggregate should be 60 percent not pcm overall aggregate ( 5 subject min) and you have to take either wbjee or jee mains To very honest they really don't care about your entrance exam they only want one things now is money from student . So what I see and what happen if you didn't give entrance exam like jee mains or wbjee etc you don't have to worry the doors are always open to you from college side you just enter and take admission through decentralised.
