Course Curriculum Overview

Because I like this course, Student Ratio of Faculty of Agriculture - 400 Student Ratio of Faculty of Horticulture - 300 Student Ratio of Faculty of Technology - 75 Very good 2 times exam in one year, pass very easy.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 26200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees under 35000, Scholarship opportunities very poor. Campus job very poor; if you are interested in government job, then prepare to self study

Campus Life

Campus life is very bad , but nature condition is average; there is no badminton court, no tennis court ground, no volleyball ground. Condition of classroom average , in the campus, one football ground, one special cricket ground.

Hostel Facilities

Condition of room very bad , bathroom very poor condition, Meal quality is very poor, Registration process for hostel one form fillup and submit in office, and it's affordable, distance between rented room or pg is nearest

B Sc in Agriculture and Horticulture Addmission Process 12th marks above 85 percentage And B Tech in Agriculture Addmission Process 12th Pass and through wbjee. wbjee cutoff general under 20000 ,obc under 25000, sc under 30000, st under 40000, if you have caste certificate, then you apply with caste certificate, Internet,18100,

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to Surendranath College in department of Zoology. But I didn't take admission in that college because this field of agriculture has better career opportunities than that one. I didn't get rejected from any college. The admission process In my university is very transparent and clear. Any 12th pass candidate with 60% marks or more is eligible to apply. Also anyone can get admission through the all India entrance exam conducted by ICAR. The overall admission experience is very good and clear. There is no complications or any errors in the admission process. I think it happened to be the best career choice for me....Read More
