Likes

I like the teaching of Faculties and we all have enough instruments in lab for our practical
Placement is good enough and 80-85 percent students get placements
I like the courses referred by the college for students which are very beneficial for placements

Dislikes

Our campus is too short. There are no ground for playing
The expanses is little much than other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it is very essential for IT jobs now a days. Most of the faculties are P.hd holders and very well educated. All the faculty members are hard working and teach us well. There are 2 mid terms in a semester and the questions are 30 marks. There are many faculties for one subjects for different sections.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the 4 th year and last of 3 rd year students get internships. They also can do internships from many apps. Faculties give many essentials projects for the final year students. And students do very well in interviews

Placement Experience

After 4 th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Highest package is about 72 lakhs per year and lowest is 3.5 lacks per year. TCS, PWC, Cognizent, Capgemini and many more companies come and take a bulk of students specially TCS. I want to take preparation for CAT exam after having Degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees is 85000. And there are other expenses too. For semester registration I had to give 1200 rupees. If someone can not afford the fees structure they can go for loan. There are some seats for TFW .

Campus Life

Library is very good containing a huge number of books for every stream. There are many social groups which are conducted by seniors. They teach us about Graphic Designs, UX/UI and many more Somet Workshops also happen which are conducted by some well established seniors.

Hostel Facilities

I have not registered in College hostel. I am in an another hostel in the College locality. So I am not familiar with it. But I know one thing that if you are live quite far from the college, You can take the College bus facility

Admission

I took admission in the college through WBJEE counseling. The course is very good and very essential now a days. The admission process is fine enough. Anyone can give IEMJEE examination to get an admission in this college

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
