Likes

Campus life is good. There are many clubs one can join them to participate in various cocurricular activities.
There are football and cricket ground . So students enjoy various sport in their own campus
Some Faculties are helpful and polite and help the students to fetch good marks

Dislikes

Campus is not fully wifi enabled.Only the library is wifi enabled
Canteen food is little bit costly and quantity is not up to the mark
The laboratory equipments malfunctions a lot and even some are not working.So there is a lack of equipment in laboratories.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission in 2023 with demanding course fee of 4 lakh 12 thousand but soon after we took admission in September our college hiked the fees of all 1st year student in the month of December and demanded a wholesome amount of more 25 thousand for next semester. So our fees got hiked from 46K to 72K in next semester. Faculty members are kind of little bit higher than that of average but not to be said too good.

Placement Experience

As per my perspective currently in this year the placement drive is low but according to statistics previously this college has a good placement record. Computer Science and Electronics student gets maximum placement and the rest of the departments related to computer and technology gets average placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Till 2023 fees structure was 4 lakh 12 thousand but from now onwards it is 6 lakh 5 thousand for non hosteller.Even they hiked the fees of 2023 1st year batch instead of the fact that they have taken admission. SVMCM and student loan is available in our college. Campus placement is not too good .It is kind of okey type. Don't expect anything from college.You have to do ur studies and have to grab ur job.

Campus Life

Annual Fest and Tech fest is not soo good but u can enjoy if u have known group of friends. Many books are available in our central library and book bank.No issue with that but wifi is kind of busy in library. U can enjoy various sports and there is not so much exposure. There are many WhatsApp groups run by our student.

Admission

The admission was not so hectic but it was a lengthy and time consuming one. There is only one book store in our college where Xerox is done that's why it takes more time for the admission as during admission many copies are required .

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
