Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course for having utter interest in Computer Science. Every single student is taken care of equally with care and support.Teachers are highly qualified with innovative teaching methods.The term exams are quite standard and one needs to study to pass them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is high as compared to other contemporary colleges. But the quality of education it provides suffices it's cost. Every student is adorned with bright future and great skills. They are sure to have commendable career ahead.

Campus Life

Many fests occur in this campus including the literary fest named EUTOPIA, cultural fest named ECSTASIA, tech fests say URECKON and HACKATHON. Classrooms have sufficient lights and fans and the ambience is quite nice. Sports also highlights the glory of this college.

Admission

To enter into this college, one has to secure atleast 60% in 12th grade from any recognised board per say CBSE,WBBSE,etc.. The student needs to qualify WBJEE,JEEMAINS or IEMJEE in order to enter here.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
