My college experience

Our campus is a green campus with full of different activities that goes around it.All that us to be improved us placement.Apart from this college is filled with every necessities.

WBJEE.I landed up here through wbjee .No there was no interview.It is all about my interest.Mechamical is one of the best topics I have ever read .I wanted to go ahead in academics through its medium .

It is good and effortful. little bit focus can make up practicals.Yes one new research initiative has been taken but the topic is still unknown.

Some of the students of the college get internship in renowned companies and rest of them get VT.Very few are selected IITs or NITs for research internship.It was unpaid.

Placement was not so appreciating but still it was around 50%.Mainly IT farms visited our campus like CTS,BOSCH,TECH MAHINDRA etc.Very few core companies visited and some of them were SPCL,COCA COLA.Average package was around 4k to 4.5k.

SRISTI,our technical fest is the North Bengal's largest technical fest.Around 200 students always participate.On the other hand JECLAT ,OUR CULTURAL fest is also the largest one.Ot goes for a week with lots of interesting events and he'll lot of students used to take part . Authorities contribute little but it goes all because of the interested students and core teams.

My course is affordable.It costs around 4.5k in a semester.Apart from this no extra charges.In the college fee every other fees are included like library fee ,clubs charge etc.

There are many scholarship programmes.some are regarding castes,some are based on academic performance and some are on the basis of economical condition of the guardians.When we talk of loan then authority helps regarding it.As I am general and come in APL category hence I didn't get any scholarship.

There are about every Providence regarding extracurricular.There are 14 clubs in the campus.All are of different field.So in case of extracurricular every student can avail there field of interest in the premises.Each and every club members are selected on the basis of evaluation of their ability.

Yes I was residing in hostel.Till 3rd year there is no single room but as we come to 4th year then we get single rooms.Hostel fee was also affordable.It was around 12k.The food quality was ok but not so much appreciating.I would like to add one thing that non-vegetarian would feel comfortable there.

Our alumnus are quite interactive .They used to aware us with different events going around the world.They keep us up to date about every necessities.They are quite helpful.Yes alumni contributes a lot regarding college development.They help in expanding placement.They provide fund for different cluns selflessly.

It was fine one need to be prepared earlier to avoid unwanted stresses which rises due to exam pressure.There are gaps between exams so that one can revise easily.

In my course almost every faculty is at his best level.In my course 21 faculties are there,out of which 5 are Ph.Ds and rest are well educated M.Tech.They are very helpful.They are always ready to tackle our questions.They enjoy clearing doubts.They are present in the premise till 8 pm.
