Overall it is a good technical institute with many nerds passing out every year. There are many social and technical clubs to sharpen the knowledge of students.
Entrance Preview
I gave WBJEE and landed up in this college with a rank of 5686 in the department of electronics and communication engineering. After school I always had a plan to go for engineering and with constant support of my family and my hard work I got a chance to study here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well it has a lots of open options in future since nowadays technology rules a nation. I am quite satisfied and each day try to learn something new and my knowledge keeps on increasing with new things I learn everyday. Also we have elective subjects like java, data structure which also helps us to go and join the software and coding world outside electronics.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internships provided to the students of 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year students, mainly 2nd and 3rd year students. Many students have interned from tenpi, IOCL, geeksforgeeks and many more reputated institutions and university. Some of them also recieved stipend for the internship.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is mainly of software companies. We had many companies like TCS, cognizant, kreeti technologies, SPCL, coca cola in our campus for recruitment. The package roughly varies among 3.6lpa to 5.5 lpa. As a conclusion, every year about 60% students are placed.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are in total 6 different departments of study in our college. Out of which 3 are core departments namely civil electrical and mechanical engineering , and rest 3 are non-core departments namely electronics and communication, computer science and information technology. So all have different fee structure: ECE and CSE has approx. 8500 rupees per semester. IT has approx rs. 14000 per semester. And civil electrical and mechanical has approx. 5500 rs per semester. We have total of 8 semesters.
Faculty
Well we have well qualified teaching staff with one head of deaprtment (H.O.D.) for every department and rest professor and assistant professor. They are quite friendly and helpful and can be contacted over phone in non teaching time.
