My personal interset was in this course and I personally preferred this course Faculty:student ratio is 600:50 and the faculty:student are having very good relationship Faculty qualification is Master in pharmacy and PhD

The fees for four year is 3,92,000 and it is very kuch effective to study The scholarship given to minority students is Aikyashree scholarship and others are provided Swami Vivekananda scholarship and granted

Neophytes is always arranged for the first year student bu the college and annual sports also arranged Every year in December There is lot of books in the library and nor shortage of any book in the library

Students should be from science background with 60 % above marks The application is foundd on wbjee website and the fee is 500 No reservation benefits is provided There is no such improvement required

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
