Just faculty problem and lack of some communication skills. There is no problem otherwise in this college. Faculty problems are actually in ECE department.
Entrance Preview
I attended West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and secured a good genral merit rank for which I had been alloted in this college. There was no other interview process followed. It was my own priority to do engineering from childhood.
Course Curriculum Overview
All the branches in this course (B.Tech) goes well. There is an only problem with ECE branch which has some faculty problem. The rest process is going well. The practical laboratories contain sufficient kits for learning. And those kits are easily accessible. The college often organizes many seminars and workshop based on robotics, python learning, this kind of inspiritational topics.
Internships Opportunities
The departmental HODs and some teachers help us to get an internship. My departmental HOD had helped me to get an internship in NJP railway by providing the NOC letter. All the internships don't provide stipend and my intern is also included in this. But tenpi company has given a atipend amount of 5,000/- to CSE students who have done the intern in tenpi.
Placement Experience
In the recent years, the placement scenario is quite good. In last two years approx 60% students have got placed mostly from non-core departments. The major companies that visited the campus are TCS, SPCL, Kriti Technologies and CTS. Moreover, as we have seen the other companies that visited in last two years are Fusion Chart, Cocacola, Erickson etc. The average package is near about 4 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee structure is quite affordable. The fees of each semester are 5,500/- approx. for CE, ME and EE; 8,500/- approx. for ECE, CSE and 14,000/- approx. for IT branches. The Hostel fees are 12,000/- per semester with a total of 8 semester.
Faculty
The faculties are quite interactive. They maintains their duty with full care by teaching well. The teachers are open minded to discuss about the problems of the students regarding studies.
