The infra structure of this college needs to be more improved. The common problem that has been going thriugh years by years is lack of communication skills.
Entrance Preview
I secured a standard general merit rank in WBJEE and via e-counselling I had been allotted in this college. The admission process was similar as compared to any other processes in other colleges. My preference was ECE or CSE but according to the orientation of filling the choices I have got this branch, ECE.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is a quite problem in our course due to lack of faculties in E.C.E. The kits provided in laboratory for practical learning are up to date and easy to handle. Not only many seminars, workshops on various study things like Robotics, MATLAB learning, Programme language learning etc are conducted by the college, but the college students themselves also have taken the initiatives by making many clubs on the campus like CFI( Centre For Innovation) on Robotics, Coders' Club on programming languages, LS( Literally Society) on Spoken English etc.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships sometimes. The students themselves are quite enthusiastic to find the interns. The HODs provide the NOC letters when needed in the interns. In the paid interns the average stipend amount varies around 5000-6000/-. In most of the cases the certificates mainly keep the value.
Placement Experience
Placement era in our college has been quite diminished than the previous years. The companies that mostly has visited our campus are TCS, CTS, SPCL etc. The average package stays between 3.5-4 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee structure is quite affordable. The fees of each semester are 5,500/- approx. for CE, ME and EE; 8,500/- approx. for ECE, CSE and 14,000/- approx. for IT branches. The Hostel fees are 12,000/- per semester with a total of 8 semester.
Faculty
The faculties are free minded to solve the problems of the students. They have also given notes on the topics they discuss which helps to understand in study purpose. So it can be said that they are very interactive with us.
