Very unique from another colleges. There are lots of facilities are provided by the government as it is an Indian Institute of technology. Very pleasant environment as per expectation.

Actually I was appeared for gate entrance exam and on the basis of my score i got thik college. It is the only one iit college where we can take direct admission only on the basis of gate exam and there is no interview facilities. Actually I was interested in communication and signal processing.

As you compare to another courses like VLSI or photonics, it is quite easy to understand every think and there is lot of scope for research in communication and signal processing. There are various kinds of equipment are there and also updated instruments are there to focus more about the updated things. OSA and Spie both are the part of communication for researching of new things. There are some limitations of choosing electives because limited number of professors for electives. Hence in 1st year mtech you can choose cryptography and advanced signal processing.

Yes this college provides us internship . ya there are lots of experienced professors which help you out in your project. Here average stipend amount is 12400 /-

Placement is very good for Btech students but for if you are expecting job, it's like impossible. There are so many major companies which visit our college like CIL, AMAZON, TEXAS etc.

There are so many events are organized.

If we compare to all nit or private college,iit fee structure is generally very less. Hence it is very affordable. In 1st fee is 43000/- only. In 2nd and 4th one is 21800 .and in 3rd sem it is 29800 only.

Yes this college provides scholarship.. And yes I am getting also. I am getting 12400 per month

Ya there are lots of extracurriculative played in the college.

Actually we reside in the hostel(jasper for 1st year mtech) and there are free net connection. In a single room two students live. For the single semester we have to pay only 15000/-.the food quality is very fine if we compare to all privet institutions..

Very good. Yes this college provides every facilities whatever you are expecting.

Ya it's feel very tired at the end of the day. There are two practice sessions each one for 3hrs and after it there are lectures,so we totally get exhausted..

Initially it was ism dhanbad. So actually what happened whoever the teacher was there. They were less experienced and had done phd from local college like haldiya, West Bengal Universities... So when ism converted to iit they were not replaced and hence we do not get deep knowledge by the professors.
