Likes

i liked our Campus and library as there were many books to read
Functions and fests were good there as everything was celebrated
Food court and canteens were my favorite as i always use to go n sit there alone

Dislikes

environment is too toxic as everybody bitches there about each other.
some teachers were not at all good there as they were arrogant
Buildings as it was on top of the hills and it was very hard to trek and go there everyday

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it was my ambition to become a software engineer. The faculty and student ratio was good enough. Some teachers were well qualified and got a senior's degree and on the other hand, some teachers were students in the universe itself with Ph.D. degrees and teaching last year btech students like me. exams were taken at the right time but it was online so objectives were there and later on subjects too.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

From 4th year / 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements. Many companies visited our college like, KPMG, Physics wallah, eazy dinner and many more. Hughes systique gave 10 lakh highest package to our batch mates. 50% students have got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to go for doing mba.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is increasing high every year like when i joined in my btech in 2020 but now it's double triple than my time. Here you will get scholarship if you scored good in your board exams abv 85%. I didn't opt to go with campus placement so i don't know about it.

Campus Life

Moksh annual function is held in March and manchtantra function is held in November and many more festivals function takes place. Our library has all kind of books as it is the biggest library. Inter department and inter college sports tournament are held. Many clubs and groups are runned by our college students only.

Admission

The admission process was very normal, I haven't given any test or interview for my admission in Shoolini University in 2020 when i joined for my as i was Covid lockdown time but now also there is nothing like test for taking admission in Shoolini University as it is s private university so it will take your admission easily even if you failed in your boards or got bad marks. Jee mains or advanced score benefits are not applicable here as i was a jee aspirant.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I think in the matter of the view it, it is far better than the universities, they have really good view and the society is quite clean. The nature of the outside of the university is very nice. Very greenery around the university, but there is a issue in the green tree that there are so many wild animals around mountains.
