My overall experience about university is good. I would like to convey that SRM provides a hell lot of opportunities to each and everyone of the University. It depends on us to move out of our comfort zone and churn something out of it to get a sweet taste of success at the end.

Entrance Exam- SRMJEEE SRM JOINT ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAM The college gives admission on the basis of rank scored in SRMJEEE followed by a counselling session.

Course curriculum is up to date and involves focus on practical skills. College provides a lot of research 3ch opportunities. SRM has its own research institute. There are lots of technical teams functioning in the college. One of the best achievement is SRMSAT SRM's own satellite launched with the help of DRDO. There are lots of elective subjects you can choose any of you interest. There are departmental and open electives as well. The college follows CBFCS which provides us with lot of free time to do some productive things apart from just academics.

Till now college has provided lot of internship to many students. My branch is civil engineering and I got an internship offer from a local pharmaceutical industry. It was not a paid internship but the experiment was quite good. We learn a lot there.

Placement scenario for Software students is a dream come true. Nearly 95% of eligible students get placed. The highest package achieved so far is whooping 55 Lacs. Placements in other core branches is average and wilfully dependent on the student abilities. Major companies include - Fuji Xerox, L and T, SAP LABS, Lafarge, Dell, Chalk Street, Ford, Mahindra

Events are the major attractions here. The events here are organised all round the year. The two major events are AARUSH and MILAN. Out of which MILAN is funded by college and AARUSH gets it major funding by outsourcing. The events are quite good. Many a celebrities have been participated.

Fees is somewhat on a higher side. In pursuing batch it's is 215000×4 for a btech course. But every penny you pay is of some use here. You are paying such a huge amount but its totally worth it.

Yes the college provides scholarships on various criteria. The scholarship amount till now reimbursed is 27 crore. The various criteria is set by the college SCHOLARSHIP committee. This committee is fully dedicated for all the scholarship related tasks. Educational loan at nominal interest rates are provided by banks. The college helms creating contacts with these banks.

The college provides a hell lot of extra curricular activities. Sports events, Drama, photography, Self defence, Dance, Fashion and a lot more. You name it it will be definitely available in the campus.

The hostel facilities are good. There are lots of options available in rooms with single, double, triple, dorm occupancy. AC/NON AC hostel are available. Food is served both as South Indian and North Indian. The food is good and they try to maintain highest quality of food and the varieties is also there.

Srm University boasts with a powerful alumni network and we have a dedicated SRM ALUMNI connection. The srm alumni association conducts regular interactive session with the successful alumni and they also help us in getting recommendation, internship etc in their organisation.

Exams and labs are balanced. We neither feel chilled or extremely tensed. The course curriculum never let us feel tensed. They provide a lot of space to learn and do something apart from academics.

Faculty is quite experienced and have a lot experience in labs as well as in field. They try to impart academic as well as practical knowledge with the aid of audio visual aids. The standard of teaching is at par with any 2tier college available out there. Sometimes there is a regular knowledge sessions from leaders of Reputed institutes
