I am studing in 3rd semester i wrote those things that i have experienced from last 1 year.

My WBJEE rank was 3700.By councilling i got ECE branch in JGEC.Firstly, i think it is not good branch but when i understand the opertuinity then i realised this is a branch where you get job in IT company as well as PSU job through GATE exam. The faculty mambers in our college very good. They allways tries to helped students specillay whose don t have good understanding power. All teacher teaching in Black board, sometime digital projecter when needed. All faculty passed out from different reputeted University.Some professors have Phd degree or higher degree. Odd semester exams held on january or february and even semester helds on august or september. Since JGEC is a autonomus college so question paper level is moderate,you can clear exam by studing before 21 days to exam.

In our college Internships start from 5th semester. If you want to get Internships then DSA and WEB development,you should know well. Some students got chance to internship at Microsoft,Amazon from JGEC.

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placement. Companies, visited to our college are TCS,L and T,Wipro,Cognizent etc Different companies offers different package, avg package you can expected 7 to 8 LPA. JGEC placement percentage 82%,it varies year by year. After getting BTECH degree i want to appear in GATE exam and going to higher studies.

Semester fees for non core depertments(ECE an CSE) is 8000 to 9000. IT depertment has high fees 15000 to 16000 per semester.Otherwise, all core branches (EE,ME,CE)have low semester fees like 4000 to 5000. You can easily apply for SVMCM scholarship here, almost every students got this.For minority students have OASIS scholarship. Those students not get any scholarship,only for those students college startes FFS and HFS scholarship. Our JGEC alumini also provided fund for students,Alumini Scholarship. In my opinion, if you want to take admission to this college not required your family should much financial strong. No there is not such kind of job you got on campusfor stipend.

JGEC conducts 2 big fests in a year. One cultural fest JECLAT in march or april month, Other big tech fest is SRISTI in november or october month. In college there is a large library, where students can collects semester books or some others book but study inside the librery is not allowded. Classrooms are big and quite clean,every room and whole college campus is cleand by workers by every sunday. In college campus there are 3 very big grounds for playing cricket,football. JGEC also has basket ball and volly ball grounds. There are various kind of clubs like NSS,CFI,AEEE,Coders Club,Dance club,Drama club etc. JGEC has many facebook pages where students achivements posts,some kind of updates,poem ,story are posted.

JGEC has 5 hostels, 4 hostels for boys and 1 for girls. Every room in Boys hostel has 3 beds for three boys and 3 wardrobes with 2 windows and a door. Meal qualty is moderate, not bad. Chicken 3 times in a week and veg 5 times, egg 3 times and fish 3 times in a week. Most of the regular students get hostel easily but lateral entry students rare chance to get into hostel. I do not stay in PG, so i do not gives any idea about PG.

In our college ,the students should score good in WBJEE exam and make a good rank like 2500 to 3500 to get chance in ECE branch. Application form released in WBJEE official website, if you appering in this exan then check out in november to december month for application form fill up. Sometime few updates regerding WBJEE released by them. In JGEC there is 5% seat reserved for ST/SC/OBC-A/OBC-B students. Few seats are reserved for physically chllenged students. In my opinion the admission process of WBJEE board is quite good and trustable. They updated day by day.
