The one and only thing I have to say that this college need to be improved in faculty facilities and infra structure of this college mainly. That's it.
Entrance Preview
I appeared in WBJEE by securing a standard general merit rank and got selected in this college in ECE department. The admission process was same as others. This B.Tech course, I am currently doing was my passion from class 8. Science was my favourite so I decided to do engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course, I have chosen is totally on my priority. But I had more expectation from this college regarding this course than the result I have got. In Spite of being a govt. college, there is faculty problem from the starting years. The kits they provide are not sufficient for a student in practical learning but it varies from dept. to dept. Yet it's good to say that the authority are trying for the developement for this college recently by opening the branch of IEEE, Gate forum etc.
Internships Opportunities
The students themselves show their enthusiasm in seeking interns like Tenpi, IOCL, MSME, Indian Railways, Simplex etc. In the last year the college had also taken initiative to organize an internship programme in our own premises. Average stipend amount is about 5000/-.
Placement Experience
In the year 2015, quite a lot of companies had visited the campus including TCS, Erickson, Fusion Charts, Tech Mahindra, Kriti Electronics, SPCL etc. The major companies are mainly TCS, SPCL, Kriti Electronics. Average package stays around 4 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
We have a semester fees of 8,500 rupees approximately for each semester and total of approx. 68,000 for college fees in 4 years. Also we pay 12,000 rupees per semester for our hostel fees.
Faculty
Faculty problem is one of the big issues in the campus mainly in ECE stream.The teachers are quite interactive and they almost try to figure out the problems of the students.
