Entrance Preview
I sat for WBJEE and secured a standard general merit rank. Via e-counselling I got selected in JGEC in ECE stream. Stream was my 1st preference than the college selection. Finally I have achieved my goal by getting chance in ECE.
Course Curriculum Overview
The ECE branch are facing a lot of problems including lack of faculty, teaching quality and status of laboratories. The practical learning if said, is not more satisfactory. The kits are not sufficient to cover the whole practical field.
Internships Opportunities
In the year 2015, quite a lot of companies had visited the campus including TCS, Erickson, Fusion Charts, Tech Mahindra, Kriti Electronics, SPCL etc. The major companies are mainly TCS, SPCL, Kriti Electronics. Average package stays around 4 LPA.
Placement Experience
We mainly have software companies coming to our college. We have mostly 50-55% placement every year. Companies like TCS, CTS, coca cola, wipro, SPCL visits our campus for recruitment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
We have a semester fees of 8,500 rupees approximately for each semester and total of approx. 68,000 for college fees in 4 years. Also we pay 12,000 rupees per semester for our hostel fees.
Faculty
The rest departments have better fate than my department regarding the faculties. Few teachers including HOD are aggressive in their teaching quality. If compared, CSE and ME has many faculties in their departments.
